Our client, a leading B2B manufacturing company, is seeking a Director of Sales and Client support to join their leadership team.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Sales and Customer Service Representatives, driving sales growth, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and optimizing departmental operations.
Responsibilities:
-Lead and manage a dedicated team of Sales and Customer Service professionals, building an effective and high-performing team.
-Develop job descriptions with key performance indicators (KPIs) for each team member, setting clear expectations for performance and accountability.
-Deliver monthly performance reports, analyzing efficiency, quality, revenue generation, new opportunities, successes, challenges, areas of improvement, and concerns.
-Create and implement the sales strategy to achieve revenue goals set by the General Manager (GM) and CEO.
-Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the company’s demographic reach and increase market share.
-Determine appropriate staffing levels and workload allocation for each team member, ensuring optimal service delivery and maximizing team efficiency.
-Identify and address process gaps within the department, implementing internal processes and providing training to the team.
-Foster collaboration and communication with other departments such as Production, QA/Technical, Shipping, and Scheduling to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
-5 years of B2B Sales and Customer Service team leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
-Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business needs and market conditions.
-Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, capable of simplifying complex processes for the team.
-Experience in driving customer retention strategies.
-Proficiency in utilizing CRM systems to manage sales activities and customer relationships.
-Track record of creating and implementing effective KPIs to measure sales performance and customer satisfaction.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, managers, and executives.
