Company seeking a skilled Controller with the ambition and potential to grow into a CFO role.
Must have experience with inventory accounting.
The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, payroll, P&L reporting, and inventory management. Fluency in Yiddish is required for this position.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and payroll.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including preparation of monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Oversee inventory management, including tracking and reporting of inventory levels and cost of goods sold.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
Work closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate flow of financial information.
Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions to ensure adequate funding and efficient use of credit facilities.
