The Acquisitions Analyst will assist the managing director in running all acquisitions and financing from the initial analysis of a particular transaction all through the closing.
•Review all Due Diligence materials received throughout the Acquisitions Process
•Conduct analysis of all potential acquisitions to determine the quality of the potential investment opportunity
•Compile all information requested by the lender for all acquisition and refinancing loans
•Manage the approval process for all necessary approvals required for each transaction
•Assist in compiling all investor reporting on properties in the portfolio
•Act as company liaison to attorneys on various matters relating to all transactions
•Assist with scheduling all third-party site visits during the Due Diligence process
•Collaborate and continually communicate with other members of the team
•Assist the Managing Director in various other roles as needed
•Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Experience:
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Extremely organized with great attention to detail
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite or related software and statistical software
•Ability to work independently and efficiently
•Ability to adapt analysis to specified formats, styles, templates, and deadlines for a variety of reports
•Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
•Ability to negotiate and settle differences quickly and peacefully
•Ability to develop and express sound opinions on investment opportunities and prospects
•Ability to work well with a team and to adhere to deadlines
•Excellent observational skills and ability to recognize trends in a particular market
•Bachelor’s degree in related field with a strong academic record required
•Real Estate experience not required, but preferred
