Job Summary:
The Social Media Content Specialist is responsible for creating, curating, and managing engaging and relevant content across various social media platforms to enhance brand visibility, engage with the target audience, and support marketing and communication goals.
This role involves a combination of content creation, strategy development, and community management to drive a strong online presence. We will professionally train the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
Take videos and pictures of programs targeted to highlight specific planned high-quality, visually appealing, and informative content, including text, images, videos, and graphics, tailored to each platform.
Develop a content calendar to plan and schedule posts in advance.
Adapt content to suit the specific requirements and best practices of each social media platform.
Content Strategy:
Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to have the right content to post.
Research industry trends and stay up-to-date with changes in social media algorithms to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.
Audience Engagement:
Monitor social media platforms for comments, messages, and mentions, and engage with the audience promptly.
Foster community growth by responding to questions, addressing concerns, and encouraging positive discussions.
Collaborate with marketing to organize and promote contests, polls, and other interactive content to boost user engagement.
Analytics and Reporting:
Track key performance metrics, such as likes, shares, comments, and followers, and prepare regular reports on social media performance.
Manage and optimize paid social media campaigns to increase brand visibility and reach specific target audiences.
Collaborate with the advertising team to set campaign objectives
Brand Consistency:
Ensure the company’s branding guidelines are followed consistently in all social media content.
Maintain a cohesive and professional online brand image.
Qualifications:
Some experience in social media
Strong filming and picture taking skills. (on an iPhone is fine)
Knowledge of social media advertising and familiarity with ad creation tools (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager).
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Creative thinking and the ability to adapt to new trends and technologies.
