We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join a homecare team.
The Finance Associate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of our homecare services, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Managing and preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for the homecare department
Analyzing financial data and providing insights to support decision-making and strategic planning
Tracking and reconciling financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and expenses
Monitoring and evaluating financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
Conducting regular financial audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Collaborating with other departments to develop and implement financial policies and procedures
Assisting with billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payment collection
Handling financial inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and vendors
Assisting with payroll administration and ensuring compliance with relevant tax and labor laws
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Proven experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a healthcare or homecare setting
Strong knowledge of financial concepts, principles, and best practices
Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, QuickBooks, or similar programs
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and data analysis
Strong organizational and time management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance is an asset
