Our client, an eCommerce company, is looking for a highly driven Warehouse Manager to oversee daily order fulfillment activities by Amazon, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping preparation.
The ideal candidate requires collaboration, teamwork, and excellent communication skills as one is required to be working closely with Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Business teams to manage daily operations such as order management, back order analysis, supply chain, and process improvements.
-Ensure an efficient warehouse operation that can fulfill operational and customer demand in line with the company’s standards operations, including inventory management, shipment and delivery, machinery maintenance and repair, and other administrative functions
-Establish develop, and recommend warehouse policies, processes, and quality control standards with other personnel and managers to ensure warehouse operations are optimized and integrated into the fulfillment process
-Coordinate with the HR officer on the sourcing and hiring of warehouse personnel, managing their workplace performance, and providing training initiatives for improvement
-Control and direct shipping and delivery movement from the point of preparation to the point of delivery in order to ensure efficient delivery processes and maximize warehouse productivity
-Setting productivity goals, placing inventory orders, setting up logical organization systems, and creating communication systems within the warehouse
-Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislative rules and requirements, as well as the most recent federal and state regulations, and guarantee adherence and compliance with extensive security protocols. and procedures
-2+ years of demonstrated warehouse managerial experience, preferably in an eCommerce industry
In-depth knowledge of industry and company best practices for warehouse efficiency and productivity of personnel
-Demonstrate high-level and impeccable organizational and operational skills to provide and improve the rules, policies, and general operating procedures of the logistics team
-Experience in leading and participating in process improvement initiatives (shipping, routing, transportation) related to improving logistic issues of the company
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to collaborate with the operations teams to evaluate and plan for the continuous improvement of the logistics to support the operational requirements
-Outstanding communication, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills and the ability to work on a tactical and strategic level
-Computer savvy, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and navigate new software and logistic operating systems
