Annual Salary: 60-100k
We are seeking an Recruiting Specialist for a network of Skilled Nursing Facilities in multiple states as well as for their corporate offices. The Candidate should have experience recruiting employees for skilled nursing facilities as well as they must have the ability to develop recruitment strategies to meet the objectives of the organization as well as maintaining effective programs for retention.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Conferring with management to assess and identify current and future staffing needs. Working to develop recruitment plans.
Filling vacant positions within the organization.
Sourcing potential candidates by networking and through online company career portals, recruitment sites, job boards, social platforms and in-person recruiting events, as well as print media, posters, and flyers when required.
Managing hiring processes via electronic Applicant Tracking Systems.
Developing own network of suitable candidates by fostering good relationships with potential candidates and past applicants.
Evaluating applications, screening and interviewing candidates, facilitating pre-interview assessments.
Conduct presentations and training to improve Facility HR recruitment efforts.
Develop, initiate and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, promotion and succession planning.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Abilities:
Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills.
Strong presentation skills.
Recruiting Specialist Education and Experience:
3+ years of related HR/Recruiting experience including talent and performance management in a healthcare facility environment preferred.
Recent experience recruiting for nonexempt, exempt and leadership positions in skilled nursing facilities.
Experience in all areas of sourcing such as the internet, social media, networking, employee referrals, job postings, as well as conducting open houses and virtual job fairs.
Experience in working with applicant tracking systems and affirmative action plan requirements.
Location/Travel:
Position is located in Brooklyn, NY. Travel to facilities and events may be required.
