Payroll Tax Manager
This position is part of the leadership team and will help to guide the growth of the company. The Payroll Tax Manager will work directly with a team of tax specialists and be responsible for overseeing day-to-day execution of various activities within the payroll tax department as required to meet all responsibilities of federal, state city, and regulations.

Responsible for managing the daily operations of tax payments.
Responsible for managing the quarterly and annual federal and multi state tax
filings, payments and funding.
Is a member of the leadership team and works closely with the LT to guide the company
Oversees a team that prepares federal & state amendments.
Oversees a team and guides them on the handling of tax notices.
Oversees & performs ongoing and periodic audits and controls.
Oversees the maintenance of ACA compliance
Ensuring ACA filing prep and reporting
Compliance reviews and implementations.
Utilize technology to improve efficiencies.
Maintain good customer relationships.
Responsible for special projects and research.
Responds timely to requests, phone, email, etc.
Consistently provides high-quality work.
3-5 years experience in payroll tax management
Bulk tax filing experience is a plus.
Proficiency in Federal and State filings and amendments
Strong analytical and customer service skills
And eye for attention to details
Ability to work towards maintaining a strong team atmosphere.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and integrity
Strong organizational skills
Ability to delegate. Handle, and prioritize multiple tasks within the team
SQL knowledge a valuable attribute.
Prior CPA practice experience is a plus but not a requirement.
