We are seeking a dynamic leader with a track record of driving substantial business growth (50M-300M) for a large company in the healthcare/education industry.
The COO should have some visionary capabilities as they will deal with some CEO-level responsibilities.
*Key Responsibilities:*
– *Strategic Leadership:* Lead the department with a clear vision and strategic direction, focusing on substantial growth and profitability.
– *Financial Oversight:* Manage the financial performance of the department through P&L management and precise execution of the business plan.
– *Decision-Making:* Serve as the final authority in matters involving Business Development, Operations, and Clinical/Educational Operations.
– *Operational Excellence:* Proactively address issues and remove barriers to ensure smooth operations, collaborating with Shared Services and external partners.
– *Process Improvement:* Oversee the development and implementation of departmental processes and updates, ensuring compliance with regulations and audits.
– *Cultural Excellence:* Cultivate a culture of excellence, effective communication, and efficient collaboration across the department.
– *Expansion:* Establish and launch new divisions/programs to drive growth.
*Qualifications:*
– Proven track record of P&L management, business planning, and substantial revenue growth.
– Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and reconcile competing priorities.
– Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on consulting and informing relevant parties.
– In-depth knowledge of DOE regulations and compliance requirements (preferred).
– Master’s degree in a related field, MBA, or relevant advanced degree (preferred).
