Large Non for Profit Organization is seeking a dedicated Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to join our team. The CCO will play a crucial role in ensuring that the organization adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining the organization’s commitment to excellence and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Compliance: Stay current with all relevant laws and regulations, ensuring all directors and managers are well-informed and updated. Provide guidance to the organization on compliance matters.

System and Process Expertise: Become proficient in understanding and accessing all systems and processes within the organization to effectively assess and address compliance issues.

Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for directors and managers to address legal concerns, answer questions, and provide guidance on compliance-related matters.

Policy Adherence: Monitor and ensure that all departments within the organization adhere to established regulations and policies, conducting regular audits and assessments.

Leadership: Demonstrate strong leadership skills, providing guidance and training to staff members on compliance best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance into organizational processes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a compliance role, preferably in a non-profit or similar setting.
In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
