Join a growing Home Care Agency as a full-time Authorizations Coordinator. In this role, you’ll be responsible for running bi-weekly reports on expiring authorizations, obtaining necessary authorizations through various channels, and ensuring accurate authorization information. Tasks include entering authorizations for active and new cases, managing contract information, and tracking temporary authorizations. You’ll collaborate with the Finance Department, review PA rosters, and handle continuity of care authorizations. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage tasks efficiently, and a commitment to confidentiality are essential for success in this role. A basic understanding of insurance and medical terminology is a plus.
